The Story Behind Cultural Pops
Driven by a passion for fandom and an entrepreneurial spirit, "Aarav Rajvansh" founded Cultural Pops at just 18 years old. Hailing from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, Aarav noticed a massive gap in the Indian market: while the love for global pop culture was exploding, accessibility to authentic merchandise—like manga, anime figures, comic books, and collectibles—was virtually non-existent in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities for everyday fans.
He envisioned a platform that would bridge this gap, making high-quality pop culture merchandise both accessible and affordable for fans across India. While his classmates and friends were occupied solely with their studies or some frivolous pastime, a completely different plan was taking shape in Aarav's progressive mind.
He began sketching his virtual idea onto real-life paper.
Operating with limited pocket money and boundless determination, Aarav spent months researching supply chains and designing the brand's identity. He personally crafted a clean, universal logo built to look seamless on everything from apparel to collectibles.
Aarav even personally designed and built his website himself spent many hard days & nights. This was truly remarkable. Accomplishing such a monumental task at such a young age is no easy feat.
By December, while simultaneously preparing for his Class 12 board exams, he took his first major leap. Recognizing the potential, the management at Muzaffarpur’s premier shopping destination, Icon Plaza Mall, offered him a first month rent-free space to launch. Aarav customized a dilapidated old cart using leftover house paint, set up shop, and opened for business. Within just five hours of his first day, 80% of his stock was completely sold out.
Balancing rigorous class 12 exam preparation with late-night business operations like managing online orders via Instagram DM and WhatsApp, shipping toys across India specially Bihar Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. Within just four months, the brand generated ₹25 lakhs in sales, all while Aarav successfully cleared his board exams with excellent marks.
Today, Cultural Pops is evolving from a local phenomenon into a national brand. With the launch of culturalpops.com, Aarav is fulfilling his ultimate vision: giving fans across every corner of India a trusted, affordable, and easy destination to celebrate the cultures they love—from Japanese anime and Korean manhwa to American blockbusters and rich Indian art—straight to your doorstep, no matter where you live in India.

Welcome to Cultural Pops, built by a fan, for the fans.
